With over 30 years as an investment professional, Mike is a Director and Family Wealth Advisor with Baird. Mike specializes in managing wealth for families, professionals, and business owners. Mike and his team provide comprehensive retirement planning, estate planning, and investment management by utilizing Baird’s unique consultative approach. Credentialed with the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) designation, developed by the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), Mike is regarded as an expert in the highly specialized retirement plan industry.
Mike graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Xavier University. He also completed the Certified Private Wealth Advisor course of study sponsored by the Investment & Wealth Institute at the Yale University School of Management.
Throughout his career with Baird, Mike has earned numerous recognitions. He is a current member of the Baird President’s Club. FORBES ranked him as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor in Ohio 2021-2025. FORBES has also recognized the Smith Colangelo Group as a Best-In-State Team in Ohio 2022-2025. Mike and his team have been a past recipient of the prestigious G. Fred Kasten Award. This award is to recognize an associate or team who consistently demonstrate a world-class client service mindset and relentlessly pursue extraordinary outcomes.
Mike lives in Anderson Township with his wife Stephanie and children Emma, Owen and Liam.
